Thomas Anderman is the President & Chief Investment Officer of Whitford Management, which he established in 2021 to oversee the assets of the Whitman Harsh family.
Prior to Whitford Management, Mr. Anderman was Head of Private Equity at Cohen Private Ventures (CPV), which invests capital on behalf of Steven A. Cohen and his family. While at CPV, Mr. Anderman completed numerous venture, growth equity and mature-stage investments across industry sectors. He also helped acquire the New York Mets Major League Baseball Club for Mr. Cohen.
Prior to his position with CPV, Mr. Anderman was a Principal at Paine & Partners, where he focused on private equity investments in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Anderman has also held positions at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, Freeman Spogli & Co., and Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Anderman received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and his BA and MA from Stanford University. He is a member of The Economics Club of New York and lives in New York with his wife and three children.
Judy Chu is the Chief Financial Officer at Whitford Management. At Whitford, Ms. Chu is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s financial, tax and operating activities. Ms. Chu joined Whitford in 2021.
Prior to Whitford, Ms. Chu spent several years as the Management Company Controller at Soros Fund Management, where she oversaw the finances for four global offices. Previously, she was a Senior Manager at KKR & Co. in its Family Office team, where she worked with the firm’s senior partners for nearly a decade. She began her career as a Senior Auditor with Deloitte’s Banking & Securities Group.
Ms. Chu received a BBA in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Baruch College and grew up in New York City. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Outside of work, Ms. Chu enjoys travel, biking, and running.
Erin Cudd is Head of Administration at Whitford Management. She joined Whitford in 2025.
Ms. Cudd has over seventeen years of experience in operations and administration. Prior to joining Whitford, she served as Executive Assistant at SRS Investment Management for over five years. Her career also includes Chief of Staff roles, as well as the operation of a small consulting business tailored to entrepreneurs.
Ms. Cudd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Outside of work, Ms. Cudd enjoys reading, running, and yoga.
James Hu is an Investments Associate at Whitford Management. At Whitford, Mr. Hu focuses on both public and private markets investing. Mr. Hu joined Whitford in 2026.
Prior to Whitford, Mr. Hu was a L/S Equity Associate at Point72.
Mr. Hu received a B.S. in Finance from New York University and grew up in San Jose, California.
Outside of work, Mr. Hu enjoys playing basketball, hiking, and climbing.
Nam Lu is an Investments Associate at Whitford Management. At Whitford, Mr. Lu focuses on both public and private markets investing. Mr. Lu joined Whitford in 2024.
Prior to Whitford, Mr. Lu was a Private Equity Associate at BayPine and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Credit Suisse.
Mr. Lu received a B.A. in Economics, Computer Science, and Statistics from Rutgers University. He grew up in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
Outside of work, Mr. Lu enjoys calisthenics, cooking, and judo.
Andrew Miller is Family Office Director at Whitford Management. He joined Whitford in 2025.
Mr. Miller has over eighteen years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Whitford, he served as the Controller at Sopris Capital Associates for more than ten years, with a focus on tax, financial reporting, and operational matters. His career also includes positions at a third-party fund administrator in New York City, a hedge fund in Greenwich, Connecticut, and a CPA firm in New York City.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ithaca College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York.
Outside of work, Mr. Miller enjoys traveling, hiking, and tennis.
Anders Pauley is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Whitford Management. He joined in 2026.
Before Whitford, Mr. Pauley was Assistant General Counsel at Bessemer Securities, a private family investment company. He has also worked at Dewey Pegno Kramarsky LLP and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.
Mr. Pauley has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from Yale College. He grew up in Winnebago, Illinois.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
Nell Rydzewski is an Investments Associate at Whitford Management, where she focuses on both public and private markets investing. Ms. Rydzewski joined Whitford in 2026.
Prior to Whitford, Ms. Rydzewski was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley.
Ms. Rydzewski received a B.A. in both Economics and Cognitive Science, with honors, from the University of Chicago, and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky.
Outside of work, Ms. Rydzewski enjoys exploring museums, playing volleyball, and spending time with her twin sister.
Shayan Soltani is an Investments Associate at Whitford Management. At Whitford, Mr. Soltani focuses on both public and private markets investing. Mr. Soltani joined Whitford in 2022.
Prior to Whitford, Mr. Soltani was an analyst at Stewart Asset Management, a New York based investment manager.
Mr. Soltani received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and grew up in Los Angeles, California.
Outside of work, Mr. Soltani enjoys playing tennis, biking, and traveling.
Ryan Tawil is a Finance Associate at Whitford Management. At Whitford, Mr. Tawil focuses on financial reporting and accounting. Mr. Tawil joined Whitford in 2024.
Prior to Whitford, Mr. Tawil was a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where he focused on real estate compliance and transactions.
Mr. Tawil received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an M.S. in Accounting from NYU Stern. He grew up in Port Washington, New York and is a Certified Public Accountant.
